How is Juvéderm Volbella performed?
Your Juvéderm Volbella treatment starts with a consultation with Dr. Vial. He will review your medical history, examine your face, and discuss your goals to create the ideal Juvéderm Volbella treatment plan. He individually curates all treatments to ensure optimal, safe, and subtle results.
During your treatment, your skin will be cleansed and numbed with topical anesthesia. Dr. Vial will mark the injection spots on your lips; Juvéderm Volbella will then be injected into the lips using ultrafine needles and cannulas. You may experience a mild pinch. Lip injections should not be painful. The injections take minutes.
What is the recovery process after Juvéderm Volbella?
Juvéderm Volbella does not involve an extended recovery process. You can expect slight increased post injection swelling which resolves in 1-2 weeks. You may need makeup if you develop bruising. You can resume your daily activities and work immediately, but you should avoid strenuous activities for 24 hours.
