Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Breastfeeding and natural aging can cause breasts to sag and lose fullness. Mastopexy is a surgical procedure that lifts the breast and repositions the nipple. This is done by removing skin and rearranging the breast tissue into a smaller skin envelope, giving the illusion of a slightly larger, more youthful breast. Depending on the degree of sagging, the scar for mastopexy can range from a circular scar around the areola, to a lollipop scar, to an anchor scar.
